The project involves the renovation and modification of a villa with disharmonious lines lacking defined compositional rules.

Initially, we were simply asked to insert a swimming pool at the front and a barbecue area in the backyard. From here, the opportunity arose to give the villa a new architectural character, defining its appearance with projecting, compact volumes that are simultaneously permeable, resulting in a much more harmonious ensemble.

The project focuses primarily on two main aspects: increasing the balcony surfaces and inserting new floors within a grid whose perimeter defines a clear volume that insists on the existing building body, witnessing the transformation that leads the building to develop a new face.

The rhythm of the architectural elements is also emphasized by the facade lighting project: a series of luminous lines highlight the added volumes, further framing them and emphasizing the linear rhythmic scan of the new built environment. By doing so, the house assumes a different connotation as soon as night falls, a continuous metamorphosis between night and day that guarantees it the charm of the new despite the daily routine.
